For demanding automotive applications, Stik-II Products offers a line of foam tapes, specialty tapes and sealants to meet our customers’ needs. We have formulated solvent and aqueous-based adhesive tapes for interior automotive applications such as vibration control, under dashboard and rear deck dust sealing, anti-squeak/rattle applications, cushioning, mounting and gasketing.
Our automotive tapes offer high tack, tensile and shear strength, a variety of release liners, adhesive coating on one or two sides, high temperature automotive grade acrylic adhesive and availability in rolls and die cuts. Our sealants provide exceptional seals, pass non-fogging tests and are easy to use.

AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS:
Neoprene Foam Tapes – Closed cell neoprene foam adhesive coated single and double sided for use as a gasket material.
Polyester/Polyether Foam Tapes - Various grades of open cell foam tapes are available coated single and double sided with adhesive for general purpose bonding and sealing. Also available with a high-slip polypropylene film on one side and adhesive on the other side for noise and vibration control applications. UL rating on polyester foam.
Polyethylene Foam Tapes – Closed cell polyethylene foam coated with acrylic, rubber, differential coated and removable adhesive systems. 1/32” rubber and acrylic adhesive tapes have a U.L. rating for electrical components up to 75° C on a variety of surfaces.
PVC Foam Tapes – Automotive grade PVC foam tapes, available in low and high density, are designed for gap filling and vibration dampening and provide secure seals against air, dust and UV light.
Butyl Tapes – Solid butyl rubber pressure sensitive tape seals out dust and moisture, provides aggressive adhesion to most surfaces and conforms to irregular contours. Ideal as a sealant for bus body and window applications.
Polyester Film Tapes – Double-sided polyester film with high tack/high shear automotive grade acrylic adhesive for permanent bonding applications.
Very High Bond Tapes – Structural grade solid acrylic tapes and very high bond acrylic foam tapes are used to replace mechanical fasteners in automotive and other manufacturing applications. Tapes offer high bond strength for sound and vibration dampening, auto trim attachment and joint sealing.
Sealants - Butyl, latex, polyurethane and silicone sealants provide permanent seals against moisture, dust and air.
- Butyl coated on both sides with pressure sensitive adhesive bonds to a variety of automotive finishes for medium strength bonding of interior and exterior trim. Extrudable butyl sealants pass non-fogging requirements and offer low temperature flexibility and adhesion. Used for sealing windshield moldings and lamp gaskets and as a temporary hold for lightweight materials during assembly.
- Latex sealants offer outstanding adhesion, UV and mildew resistance and non-yellowing properties.
- Polyurethane sealants provide weather-proof seals for vehicle bodies and cab construction including panels, underbody and automotive trim.
- Silicone sealants exhibit permanent flexibility and high bond/strength properties for vehicle body construction, underbody sealing, superior seals for windshields, body trim, moldings, body seams, headlight and taillight configurations, mounting of radio antennas and under-the-hood engine components.
