Foam tapes, butyl tapes and sealants provide versatility, serving many applications in the log home construction market. These products are extremely effective for sealing log tongue and groove joints. They also perform as an acoustical sealant to reduce sound transmissions, maintain airtight seals as a vapor barrier sealant and prevent air, water and insect infiltration. Butyl is also an excellent adhesive/sealant for aluminized steel panels as a roof panel rib sealant and bonds well to metal and glass surfaces as a bedding sealant.

LOG HOME CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS:
Butyl Tapes – Solid butyl rubber pressure sensitive tape is ideal for sealing rough surfaces such as wood to wood, wood to concrete and concrete to concrete.
PVC Foam Tapes – Available in low, medium and high density for gap filling and sealing out air, dust and UV light. Tapes offer flexibility, strength and wear resistance.
Sealants - Elasti-Log™ and polyurethane sealants provide permanent seals against moisture, dust and air for sealing, bonding and weatherproofing joints.
- Elasti-Log™ – Permanently flexible butyl sealant with excellent gunnability. As an acoustical sealant, Elasti-Log™ increases the Sound Transmission Class (STC) value by up to 65% when partition openings are properly sealed.
- Polyurethane sealants – For sealing around windows, door openings, sky lights, door hinges and air conditioners and sealing flashing and below grade waterproofing membranes. Also for sealing new construction or repair of joints and adhering various construction materials.
